Eligibility Criteria
Concordia University welcomes applicants from all parts of Canada, the United States and abroad. In keeping with the general principles accepted by all Québec universities, the policy of Concordia is that admission is open to any qualified applicant, in the program of his or her choice, within the limits of its resources.
In general, the qualification for admission consideration is the level of secondary education required to apply for university studies in the home province, state or country. In addition, various programs require prerequisite courses (profiles). For example, applicants to the Bachelor of/Baccalaureate in Science, Engineering or Computer Science programs should have senior secondary school courses in mathematics and other sciences. Those applying to the Bachelor of/Baccalaureate in Commerce or Administration degrees require a background in mathematics. Other programs (e.g. visual or performing arts, journalism, creative writing, etc.) require portfolios, interviews, and/or letters of intent.
