Eligibility Criteria
The prerequisites for admission of applicant to the program are:
High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent; for example:
Adult High School Diploma;
or
GED Diploma of High School Equivalency
Successful completion of:
English 121, 122, or Senior Academic Studies – English;
Math – 2 credits in Grade 11 and/or 12 – level 2; or 1 credit in Grade 11 – level 2 – prior to 1996
Chemistry 111 or 112 and 121 or 122;
Biology 120 or Biology 122;
Physics 111 or 112 and 121 or 122.
Note: University credits may be accepted in lieu of these High School subjects.)
Be willing to participate in an orientation;
Submit proof of a physical examination and immunization prior to the commencement of training by following instructions on the standardized NBCC Medical Form.(Note: Also, Hepatitis B immunization is required for those who are accepted into this program. It should also be noted that certain immunizations are required for anyone entering a training program involving a practicum that takes place in a hospital or related setting.)
