Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold at least a Master’s degree in Media Studies, Communication or a related field appropriate to the interdisciplinary strength of the program. A minimum 78% overall average in the last degree is required. Students born outside Canada whose first language is not English also must provide evidence of achieving a score of at least 625 (paper-based) or 263 (computer-based) or 107 (Internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and a score of 5 on the Test of Written English (TWE), as detailed in the application procedure.
As part of the admissions process, an interview may be held, either in person or via teleconference, if the admissions committee desires further information about a particular applicant.
