Eligibility Criteria
Students interested in studying molecular genetics and microbiology should apply to the life sciences admission category on the St. George campus. This will require at least six senior high school credits (Grade 12 U or M courses in Ontario) including English 4U and Calculus and Vectors. Senior high school Biology and Chemistry are recommended.
Students apply to a program of study at the end of first year. To be prepared for Molecular Genetics and Microbiology, you must have senior high school credits in Calculus and Vectors, Biology and Chemistry. Physics is strongly recommended, especially for students interested in research and the Specialist program. Students outside of Ontario should have the equivalent senior high school credits.
