Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have an MA from a recognized university, with a B+ average or the equivalent. However, to have a significant chance in the admission competition, an applicant should have the equivalent of an average of A- or better both overall and in theory courses and econometrics. Students whose language of instruction was not English are subject to the English requirement described in Section 3.1 although because of the strength of the competition, such students are seldom admitted directly to the PhD program; they may however be admitted to the MA program and then promoted.
