Description
Fleming College is located in small communities in Ontario, offering an ideal combination of urban amenities and unspoiled nature. Situated along part of the Trent-Severn Waterway, the region is home to more than 350 natural lakes and hundreds of kilometres of lakeside trails.
At Fleming College, we keep class sizes small so students can receive individualized support from their instructors. Students focus on hands-on learning with practical equipment and workspaces, developing the skills employers are looking for.
Fleming College has close relationships with local employers and business communities connected to its programs. These partnerships enable us to align what students learn with the skills employers seek.
The cities of Peterborough and Lindsay are known for their natural beauty. They offer a wonderful blend of welcoming, relaxed surroundings and urban amenities, including a wide range of dining options, music events, festivals, cycling trails, entertainment programs, and year-round outdoor activities. The cities have well-developed public transit, and commutes to campus are often shorter than in larger urban centres. Students experience an authentic Canadian culture here, where locals often kayak along the canal through the city centre in summer and skate on the same river in winter.
In Haliburton, the beautiful scenery around town has long attracted artists from afar. The campus was designed to inspire creativity, with work and study spaces that make the most of natural light. It is an ideal setting for students to immerse themselves in art and design.
