Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be currently enrolled in or have successfully completed credits or equivalent standing from a Canadian school in:
Senior 3 Consumer or Applied Math
Senior 3 English Language Arts, Comprehensive Focus
It is strongly recommended that students entering this program have a demonstrated knowledge of basic keyboard and mouse applications, and working knowledge of either Windows or Macintosh operating systems. Previous training or experience in word processing is also recommended.
Applicants not meeting the entrance requirements must write the Skills Assessment and achieve an equivalent level in mathematics and reading comprehension.
Applicants who do not meet the entrance requirements for enrollment may still be considered based on a documented plan approved by the College that identifies the required skills and knowledge that will support student learning to meet these entrance requirements. The plan will include any additional costs that may be incurred by students.
